Wilhelm Furtwängler conducts the Prelude from Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg 1942. It seems to be recorded at a AEG factory. The quality is really amazing. During WW2 Richard Wagner's music was used for propaganda purposes.The stylized close-ups of the spectators are pretty amazing. Here's a few:
